In the summer of 2024, our founder Jack was in the gym, hands covered in chalk and sweat dripping from his face. As he wiped his brow, he noticed other athletes struggling with the same problem, except for the ones wearing hats. But those hats were either stained with salt, worn out, or just plain unappealing. There had to be a better solution. In that moment, Happy Duck was born, a brand dedicated to creating high-performance headwear built for athletes who demand both function and style.

Our name carries personal meaning. As an infant, Jack was rambunctious, noisy, and always smiling. His mother used to say he was “quacking” and lovingly called him a “happy duck.” In tribute to her, he made it the name of the company, a reminder to approach every challenge with energy, resilience, and an unshakable spirit.
